POSCO-TCS Unethical Behavior Reporting Guidelines


We welcome reports of unfair business practices, abuse of authority, or corruption involving POSCO-TCS employees and executives. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed to any third party. Reports are processed promptly.

  • 1. Reportable Acts

    Acts of receiving money, goods, or entertainment from external stakeholders in relation to duties.

    Acts of obtaining unfair profits using status or causing damage to the company with improper means/intentions.

    Other unethical acts related to external stakeholders.

    Cases that may be excluded from investigation

    Reports regarding personal privacy or private disputes of employees that the company cannot intervene in.

    Reports requesting special favors or reported with improper intentions.

    Malicious reports without evidence, false facts, or unilateral allegations slandering others.

    Cases where reported details are found to be false or difficult to confirm due to lack of evidence.

    Reports of unethical behavior unrelated to business with external stakeholders.

    Matters already reported, under investigation, or with disciplinary/investigative procedures ongoing or completed by audit departments, related departments, or external agencies.

    Cases reported anonymously or under a pseudonym where the identity of the reporter cannot be determined.

    Matters simple related to operational/work improvements.

    Other cases deemed inappropriate for reward by the reward review committee.

  • 2. Confidentiality Guarantee for Whistleblowers

    Prohibition of Identity Leak & Identification Efforts:

    All employees must not disclose the reporter's identity even if learned through work or by chance.

    All acts that may lead to identity exposure, such as inquiries about the reporter's identity or investigative activities to find out the reporter, are prohibited.

    Disclosure or implication of the reporter's and investigation cooperator's identity without consent is prohibited.

    Persons violating confidentiality obligations may be penalized.

    Prohibition of Disadvantage:

    Disadvantageous treatment against the whistleblower is strictly prohibited.

  • 3. Reporting Methods & Contact Information

    Reporting Method:

    Available via various methods including mail, phone, or direct visit. Select the most convenient method.

    Reporting Guidelines:

    Write personal details of the reporter and violator, along with the violation facts based on the 6 Ws and 1 H principles (Who, What, When, Where, Why, How).
